Canterbury ATVs was born whilst owner Ted Marris was on a hunting trip in Gore. He borrowed his first quad bike of Ewan Allan Honda in Gore. A fitter and turner machinist by trade, Ted got interested in the bike and its mechanics. He decided to buy the bike on the spot, brought it with him home, fixed it up and sold it. A second bike was bought, fixed and sold. This was becoming quite exciting.
For those who remember the Woodend Flower & Veggie Shop.....it today houses the premises of Canterbury ATVs - a fully operational workshop and showroom.
Although Honda Specialists one can see a wide selection of various makes and models, new and used bikes always on display.
Ted also has the assistance of two fully qualified mechanics - always ready to attend to emergency breakdowns. As of recent an On-Farm-Service has also been introduced.
